HMG Paints 3D 80th Anniversary Logo

HMG Paints Ltd, The UK's leading independent paint manufacturer, are this year returning to print advertising in various paint and coatings related publications, unfortunately HMG's image range is very poor so the logo idea was used as an alternative to using low resolution product pictures like in the past .  The 3D version of the 80th Anniversary Logo will be forming the basis of many of these adverts.  The 3D logo was created in Adobe Illustrator and will then be used in a wide range of HMG Paints media throughout 2010.  Plans for the logo at the moment include, videos, presentations, merchandise and stationary.

The HMG Paints 3D poster was selected for Abduzeedo.com  Daily Inspiration 447

HMG Paints Commercial Transport System Chart

HMG Paints Ltd are leaders in the Commercial Vehicle sector in the paint industry and as such have a wide varierty of coatings, the Commercial Transport Systems Chart was created to bring all these systems into one place.

The wall chart contains all of HMG Paints' relevant products to the Commercial Transport sector and provides all the latest information inclunding VOC's, mixing ratios, viscosity and other relevant information that users will need for the paint along with Hardener and Thinner information.  The wall chart also features the HMG Paints logo watermarked in the background, the idea of this is that when viewing the chart from far away the logo is the most visible part of the poster, however when close up the logo does not make the text unreadable.   The chart was printed on A1 170gm Silk paper and has been distributed to a wide variety of HMG customers and HMG's network of distributors.

If you would like a Commercial Transport System Chart then please use the contact details on the top menu or contact HMG Paints Ltd, via tel: 0161 205 7631 or via email on sales@hmgpaint.com

HMG Paints Champagne Label

In November 2009 HMG Paints Ltd, the UK's biggest independent paint manufacturer brokes its all time record litreage with a whopping 416,320 litres of paint produced.

To celebrate the fact HMG Paints management treated the staff to a free bottle to help celebrate in style, for the occassion I created a special label to mark the landmark occassion.

Quite a way to head into HMG Paints' 80th year, a big well done to all the production staff who made it possible.

MAx HAgue HDR Image

In September Manchester artist Max Hague held a residency at HMG Paints, prior to his exhibition at the City Inn, Manchester, throughout his time I followed him around documenting his time at HMG.  The image is one taken on a digital camera which I then applied a HDR effect to using Photoshop.
